There are many different kinds of BFF necklaces. The old heart-split-in-two, or the new baked-good-and-refreshment. Some even have the opposite charm smaller on your chain, such as:
Say good by to plain (BEST/ \FRIEND), now its all about (PEANUT BUTTER/ \JELLY), or ( MILK/ \COOKIE)
I'm happy for a breath of fresh air now. Those old BFF were getting old and only people who have had them since second grade still wore them.
But Milk seems to be a reoccurring half. I've seen my Milk/Cookie combo, but now some other pastries are adopting Milk.
If you ask me, I think Milk is a traitor.
If you have kids, you're probably used to the tantrum your kids throw when offered milk, so you ad an Oreo or two and then they drink. So for something called 'yucky', it seems very popular.

(CHOCOLATE MILK/ \CUPCAKE )
